VP, Product Marketing

Chicago, Illinois, United States; New York, New York, United States

Perion is a global advertising technology company delivering solutions to the biggest brands and publishers around the globe across search, social media and display, video, CTV, and programmatic DOOH.

Home to an award-winning technology solution –– with our unique data-driven AI/ML based technologies, we deliver and optimize hundreds of terabytes of data and billions of events per day. We’re working with dozens of sources to provide a superior experience across screens and platforms, including mobile, video, social and native.

About the position:

Perion is hiring a VP, of Product Marketing, located in EST or CST time zones to own how the world understands and buys our advertising technology. This is not a support function—it’s a revenue-driving, strategy-shaping leadership role at the center of how Perion grows.

You’ll lead three teams—Demand PMM, Supply & Partnership PMM, and Solutions Marketing—and be accountable for the full product marketing surface area: positioning, go-to-market execution, sales enablement, competitive intelligence, pricing strategy, and customer advocacy. Your work will directly influence pipeline, win rates, and how Perion shows up in the market globally.

The ideal candidate moves fluently between crafting a board-ready narrative and coaching a rep through a deal. You combine strategic rigor with creative instinct, and you’re energized by the complexity of a multi-product, multi-audience, global adtech business.

Your Teams

●      Demand PMM — Owns positioning, messaging, and GTM for Perion’s demand-side products targeting advertisers, agencies, and brands. Drives launch playbooks, buyer enablement, and competitive differentiation across channels (CTV, DOOH, display, video, retail media).

●      Supply & Partnership PMM — Leads go-to-market for supply-side offerings and strategic partnerships. Builds partner narratives, co-marketing programs, and publisher-facing value propositions that drive supply growth and platform adoption.

●      Solutions Marketing — Packages Perion’s cross-product capabilities into vertical-specific and use-case-driven solutions. Owns solution narratives, proof points, and consultative content that helps sellers lead with business outcomes.

What You’ll Do

Positioning, Messaging & Narrative

  • Define and continuously sharpen positioning and competitive differentiation across Perion’s portfolio—ensuring every product has a clear, compelling story that resonates with its target buyer.

  • Develop audience-specific value propositions for advertisers, agencies, publishers, and enterprise brands—localized for key global markets (Americas, EMEA, APAC).

  • Own the master narrative—from website and pitch decks to keynotes, analyst briefings, and investor materials.

Go-to-Market Strategy & Execution

●      Lead end-to-end GTM for product launches, feature releases, packaging changes, and market expansions—coordinating Product, Sales, Demand Gen, Comms, and regional teams into a single motion.

●      Build repeatable launch frameworks that scale across products and geographies, with clear success metrics at each stage.

●      Identify and size new market opportunities in partnership with C-suite leadership; build the business cases and GTM plans to pursue them.

Pricing & Packaging

●      Partner with Product and Finance to develop and optimize pricing and packaging strategies that maximize value capture and competitive positioning.

●      Conduct pricing research, A/B testing, and competitive benchmarking to ensure Perion’s commercial models keep pace with market evolution.

Sales Enablement & Revenue Partnership

●      Build and maintain a modern enablement system: battlecards, objection handlers, ROI calculators, demo scripts, proof points, and segment-specific talk tracks—for both demand-side and supply-side sales motions.

●      Run structured win/loss analysis and feed insights back into messaging, product development, and competitive strategy.

●      Partner with global Sales leadership to ensure PMM output directly accelerates deal velocity and win rates.

Competitive & Market Intelligence

●      Build a continuous competitive intelligence engine—tracking competitor positioning, product moves, pricing changes, and emerging ad formats across global markets.

●      Leverage AI-powered tools and data workflows to automate signal detection and deliver real-time competitive insights to the field.

●      Serve as the company’s go-to authority on adtech market dynamics, buyer behavior trends, and where the industry is heading.

Customer Advocacy

●      Build a scalable customer marketing engine: case studies, testimonials, reference programs, advisory boards, and co-marketing opportunities.

●      Champion the voice of the customer to inform product roadmap priorities and marketing investments.

Leadership, Team & Measurement

●      Lead, mentor, and scale a global PMM organization across three teams—building a culture of strategic rigor, creative ambition, and cross-functional partnership.

●      Define and own KPIs that tie product marketing directly to business outcomes: pipeline influenced, win rate improvement, deal velocity, competitive displacement, and market share.

●      Foster a test-and-learn culture—A/B test messaging, iterate on positioning, and let data settle debates.

What You Bring

Required

●      12+ years in product marketing with 5+ years leading PMM teams, ideally in adtech or martech

●      Deep fluency in the digital advertising ecosystem—programmatic, CTV, DOOH, retail media, audience targeting, measurement, and privacy-first solutions.

●      Proven track record of building positioning, GTM strategies, and enablement programs that measurably moved pipeline, win rates, and revenue.

●      Experience with pricing and packaging strategy in a multi-product, multi-audience environment.

●      Strong competitive intelligence instincts—you’ve built CI programs, not just consumed reports.

●      Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills; comfortable with C-suite, customers, and large audiences.

●      Experience managing global, distributed teams and adapting marketing programs for regional markets.

●      Fluency with modern PMM tooling and AI-powered workflows for content creation, competitive monitoring, and market analysis.

Preferred

●      Experience marketing AI/ML-powered advertising products

●      Background spanning both buy-side (DSP, agency) and sell-side (SSP, publisher) adtech dynamics.

●      Familiarity with product-led growth motions alongside traditional enterprise and channel sales.

●      MBA or advanced degree in marketing, business, or a related field.

VP Sales UK

London, England, United Kingdom

Perion is a global advertising technology company delivering solutions to the biggest brands and publishers around the globe across search, social media and display, video, CTV, and programmatic DOOH.

Home to an award-winning technology solution –– with our unique data-driven AI/ML based technologies, we deliver and optimize hundreds of terabytes of data and billions of events per day. We’re working with dozens of sources to provide a superior experience across screens and platforms, including mobile, video, social and native.

Reporting to the UK Managing Director, as the VP Sales UK, your main responsibility is to evangelise and educate brands and agencies on the value proposition of Perion’s digital solutions, with a particular focus on Outmax, Perion’s performance marketing solution that maximises programmatic campaign results through intelligent optimisation, targeting, and real-time, data-driven execution.

About this opportunity

The purpose of this role is to lead new business development, maximise revenue and grow key partnerships across the respective media agencies and direct clients that we operate with both locally and internationally. This includes leading the development and implementation of sales strategy, go-to-market plans with marketing and managing and maintaining our CRM system and agency blueprints for accurate and valuable forecasting and planning.

This role sits at the intersection of sales, partnerships, and market education. You will act as a senior ambassador for Outmax and wider Perion solutions like DOOH, owning top-tier relationships, structuring Joint Business Plans, and embedding Outmax as a must-have optimisation layer across the digital marketing ecosystem.

This is a hands-on, externally facing role, designed for a profile coming from top-tier adtech companies or saleshouses, or a similar high-end adtech environment, with deep credibility at C-level within agencies and large advertisers.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Strategic sales leadership
    • Own and grow enterprise-level revenue across holding groups, key agencies, and top-tier advertisers
    • Personally lead complex, high-value deals involving multiple stakeholders (trading, procurement, data, legal, finance)
    • Define and execute the commercial strategy for Outmax and wider Perion solutions across the market, in alignment with Perion’s global objectives
  • Agency & advertiser relationships
    • Leverage an existing senior network across media agencies, trading desks, and advertiser leadership (CMOs, Heads of Media, Digital Directors)
    • Position Outmax as a strategic partner, not a vendor: performance, automation, and business outcomes first
    • Build long-term account penetration rather than transactional sales
  • Partnerships & Joint Business Plans (JBPs)
    • Design, negotiate, and execute Joint Business Plans with:
      • agency groups
      • strategic advertisers
      • platforms and ecosystem partners.
  • Act as the senior commercial owner of these partnerships and structure multi-quarter / multi-market agreements including:
    • Revenue commitments
    • Test & learn frameworks
    • Co-selling and co-marketing initiatives
  • Market evangelism & credibility
    • Represent Outmax externally as a thought leader in digital marketing optimisation, AI-driven bidding, and performance-led media
    • Engage in high-level industry discussions with agencies, advertisers, and platforms
    • Support Perion / Outmax in key pitches, RFPs, and strategic conversations where seniority and credibility are critical
  • Team leadership & enablement
    • Act as a role model and closer for senior sales and account teams
    • Mentor and elevate commercial talent, particularly on:
      • Enterprise selling
      • Negotiation at C-level
      • Long-term partnership building
    • Work closely with product, trading, finance, and legal teams to ensure scalable and repeatable commercial frameworks

What do you need to perform in this role

  • 15+ years experience in digital media, adtech, or programmatic environments.
  • Proven senior leadership experience at companies such as from top-tier adtech companies or saleshouses, or a similar high-end adtech environment.
  • Demonstrated success managing:
    • large agency groups
    • strategic advertisers
    • complex partnership agreements
  • Strong track record in structuring and executing JBPs.
  • Network & credibility
    • Deep, active network within major agency groups (global, regional, and local leadership)
    • Established relationships with large advertisers and media decision-makers
    • Recognised as a trusted peer by agency MDs, Global Heads of Trading, and senior client leads
  • Skills & mindset
    • Highly strategic, but commercially hands-on
    • Exceptional negotiation and deal-structuring skills
    • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and shaping new business models
    • Strong executive presence; able to influence without authority
    • Data-driven, performance-oriented, and business-outcome focused.

What We’ll Bring to the Table

  • Exposure to cutting-edge ad tech. You’ll gain hands-on experience in one of the most innovative, fast-moving businesses in the world and be able to shape the commercial future
  • Fast growth opportunities. Perion is scaling quickly, creating clear paths to develop, advance, and take on leadership
  • A performance-driven environment that rewards impact. Results matter, and strong performers are recognised, valued, and rewarded
  • High autonomy and visibility at group level
  • Direct impact on revenue, partnerships, and market positioning
  • Ability to operate at true ecosystem level, not just “selling inventory or tech”
  • Reports directly to Group leadership
  • Works closely with Product, Trading, Finance, and Global Partnerships teams
